It is important to note that if your phone is stolen or lost, several people have been
disabling their phone service BEFORE they enable device recovery. AntiDroidTheft requires
a working internet connection to send status updates, so if you disable your phone service
right away, it may take a while for the person who stole/found your phone to connect to the
internet.
If GPS is not enabled on your device, antidroidtheft will attempt to use cell tower
information to locate your phone. These locations are approximated.
An active data connection is required to receive updates from your phone. Whenever
the phone gains access to the internet, updates will be sent.
